They've got McGuire-era villains and Garfield-era villains in this thing. McGuire and Garfield are gonna show up.
The trailer is definitely deceptive. What it looks like is that our MCU Peter gets help from Doc Ock at some point, but maybe he’s being held in a brig, but also Doc Ock steals Iron Man tech. GG shows up and is trying to persuade MCU Peter, but at some point the other Spider-Men fight against the SS. Obviously Strange knows many outcomes and tries to stop MCU Peter. The rest is up in the air.Strange is no dummy though. This might be better than Infinity War and Endgame. Also, it might end on a cliffhanger.
Another thing I just thought of is that MCU Peter has access to Iron Man tech so maybe he willingly gives Doc Ock the tech.
Ok, I was all going to be like really another spiderman movie, can we come up with something better than another MCU thing? I will admit the multiverse doctor strange combination sounds like it could be fun. I will look out for this one.
Superior Spiderman has been a fairly popular thing for years now, so I could see Doc Ock becoming an anti-hero if he survives long enough. If they're doing Spiderverse rules, then none of the visitors from the multiverse can survive outside their home realities for too long, but 616 Ock shoved his mind in Peters body then later into a clone of Peter, so that could be how he sticks around. If you hear him say "the die is cast," you know that's the direction we're heading.
This and "Dr. Strange: Multiverse Of Madness" are a two-parter. I think they did it this way to work-around all the legal rights. No Way Home = Spidey-verse. Multiverse Of Madness = ...*drumroll*....Fox-Men and Deadpool. Put 'em together, you've got everybody, while inside the individual movies, no rights rules were broken.
My theory for Electro's new appearance. Webb-verse Electro is diffused away as life energy, but lost the strength needed to reconstitute his physical body, then his energy comes through into the MCU, and he possesses MCU Jamie Foxx.
I doubt it’ll be explained, but if it is it’ll be very quick like when Peter explain how he got his powers to Ned.
Other than Sony Pictures' rights to Spidey, no "rights rules" are being broken. Remember, the Mouse now owns FOX. It's only a matter of time before the FOXU and MCU collide.
I really hope the MCU lets Peter evolve and grow up, maybe becoming the head of Stark Enterprises R&D division and the Avengers resident tech guy. Let him marry MJ and have a real life, set up a Mayday Parker movie 15 years from now. Let Miles or Otto or whoever be the street level Spiderman for a while.
So we were wondering how they could re-activate multi-dimension travel after Kingpin's machine was so unstable. Well, looks like they're using Spider-Man 2099's machine.
Kevin Feig is playing coy about the where and the when, but he has said "if" Daredevil ever came back, it would be Charlie Cox. Come on, he's gonna be in "No Way Home". https://www.darkhorizons.com/charlie-cox-to-be-the-mcus-daredevil/
We see him in the after credits of the first one, he hops into the 60's cartoon. Edit- He was kind of like Batman Beyond before Batman Beyond. And he had organic webshooters before Raimi-verse.
Yeah, I think he would not mention anyone by name unless there were some pending project with their involvement. Otherwise, it'd be "We have no plans..." I don't think there will be a Charlie Cox Daredevil film, but, sure, I think he's going to show up in SM:NWH.
Oddly, I always found the organic webshooters a better explanation than a high school student inventing such an unbelievably advanced technology. When I saw the first Raimi film, I had a very positive reaction to that update to the character.
