Good lord. If I go see this in theaters and have to hear people screaming for every cameo I’m walking out.
They're going to need to insert a pause in the action each time these characters come onscreen, like in an old sitcom after the Fonz unexpectedly appears or Kramer suddenly busts through the door, so that the audience can settle down before the dialogue commences.
A piece of "Multiverse" merchandise leaked, a magic bracelet, and the box art looks preeeetty much like what the final poster might look like. As I said a page or two back, the four main heroes are Strange, Wanda, Wong, and America Chavez. There they are.
Merchandise leaks are showing there's actually 2 Dr. Strange variants. The evil one from "What If?" and a more superhero-y one called Defender Strange. I've been wracking my brain trying to figure out what world he comes from, and I think I've got it! The Tobey McGuire verse! He's the Dr. Strange J. Jonah Jameson mentioned way back in Spider-Man 1! Oh, I hope that's it! That'd be a kick!
Rob Liefeld is in the grapevine, and he's confirmed Fox stuff is in "Multiverse". He dances around the details, but says the stuff that's rumored is in there, and the rumors have the details, so yeah. https://thedirect.com/article/doctor-strange-2-leak-marvel-rob-liefeld
Oh, and the reasons there are leaks, is because they keep testing it with audiences, and every time they test it, they decide to cram more stuff in, which is why there may be yet more reshoots. So, this is one of those flicks they keep polishing right up to release.
I think with SM:NWH pulling in record box office and much of that being attributable to crowd-pleasing nostalgia, the makers of DS:MoM are going to infuse their movie with as much of the same as they possibly can. The movie is going to be one giant Anchorman newsroom team brawl. And that may be a very good thing.
Steven Yeun (Glenn from TWD) is being eyed for Mister Negative in Spider-Man 4. https://www.giantfreakinrobot.com/ent/exclusive-steven-yeun.html https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mister_Negative
Well, they've gone right ahead, and put Toby and Andrew in the "No Way Home" TV ad for it being out on streaming. So, if you waited for streaming cuz you were scared of theaters, and didn't want that spoiled, fuck you, I guess.
Honestly, though, if you were at all interested in Spider-Man, you would've had to go live in a Unabomber shack for the last few months to avoid spoilers. If you're the kind of fan the appearance of McGuire and Garfield would most delight, you should probably be seeing these films at the theater on opening night.
? Given the ending of "MORBIUS" , does anyone think they're planning on doing in a future movie(s)? ?
Yep. They've never abandoned that idea. The next couple live-action Sony-verse movies are Kraven, and Madame Web so they're building to it.
Spider-verse 3 is going to be "Beyond The Spider-verse" and the grand finale is going to have....*drumroll*....250 Spider-people. So....that'll have to be all of them. Nick Hammond, Electric Company, Neil Patrick Harris, Amazing Friends, the whole shlameel. https://www.darkhorizons.com/third-spider-verse-film-to-go-beyond/
John Watts has left Fantastic Four. https://www.darkhorizons.com/jon-watts-exits-marvels-fantastic-four/ They'll get someone better. They always do.
You mean Jon Watts, the guy who was in charge of the three Tom Holland Spider-Man films? The three films that are amongst the most popular MCU movies of all time? Unless they bring in the Russo Brothers or Jon Favreau, I can't see how they're going to get anyone better.
