Been stressed like crazy so I thought I would distract myself a bit I like the elements in the 2nd one the best. I lucked into a site that had these as "metallic" drawings. However they didnt have the other two patches. My ideal would to do the 1st one with the metallic elements and be able to do it bigger.
Your pictures inspired me. I did a Google search for the things I'm qualified in. The return was a lot of stuff resembling the Totenkopf. So, I'll bow out of this particular topic.
As a side note, I was never a big fan of the Totenkophf related graphics. They seemed to be just too over the top.
The USArmy's "Expert Badge" doesn't quite cover busting your skull like a marshmellon at .60 miles, so I'm a loss for what I can do.
Spring is surely upon us. The mountain laurels behind the office are in bloom. They're pretty and they smell like grape Kool-Aid.
Oh, and this is apparently a cherry tree. There are ton more blossoms on it now and they don't look like peach blossoms at all. They look just like the flowers on the famous cherry trees in Washington D.C. Apparently some bird ate a cherry and then shit out the seed by our house.
This critter was in my front yard a few weeks ago and I didn't have my camera ready. Today however...
A few feet away from this, the reporter I was with was having a confrontation with a business owner who's been screwing his customers. To avoid spooking the guy, I set my camera on the sidewalk while it was recording (the reporter was wearing a microphone) and walked over to take a picture of these pretty flowers. I think it's some sort of sage plant.
It doesn't contain anything but gin and a couple of olives. The glass does look girlie, though. Apparently all the stemmed cocktail glasses at that place look like that. My wife pointed out that with the offset stem, the rest of the glass looked like boob. I said, "No wonder I keep wanting to put my mouth on the bottom of the glass."
Watched the Spurs whip OKC tonight. Not the greatest seats (about a section higher from where I prefer to sit), but they were free. $250 face value for the pair. It's nice to...know...people.
The full view from my house... http://www.flickr.com/photos/danleach/8552039945/sizes/o/in/photostream/ Not the best photo or post processing, just to show whats there
I knew this was a popular pastime in the Austin area, but apparently there's a branch office here now.
