Depends on what we're calling "oppressive." For some, it's having to wear masks in public spaces during a pandemic. For others, it's having a gun pulled out on you for a speeding ticket because you "fit the profile.". For others still, it's having the President use your gender as a political football and having your career with the military derailed even after leadership signed off on gender reassignment.
