The driver was a 31-year old Tunisian who lived there. It's now 80+ dead. If combined with the Orlando attack, that's 130 dead and probably 200 wounded - from just two jihadists who were completely normal except for the part about Islam.

Once again, I repeat that nobody has ever claimed Islamic terrorism has "noting to do with Islam". What is claimed is that it doesn't represent all Muslims and terrorists remain a significant minority of Muslims. If Dinner's rhetoric is to be believed the all 5 million Muslims in France would be in a full blown civil war with the rest of the country. Think about that for a second.

Second, as I repeatedly say, those with a brain know that there is no such thing as "Islam". It's just an idea, like all religions. It's what a human being does with that idea that defines what he is, and it's only those who use religion for evil acts or who spread hate that are terrorists.

Now for almost any other religion that list would say something like

And most of those attacks would be in India and Africa.

We're not taking our shoes off at airports because of Buddhists, Christians (whether Catholic, Protestant, or Orthodox), Hindus, Shintos, Confucians, Sikhs, Zoroastrians, or Jews. We're taking them off because Muslims.
