This question really needs to be disqualified. Terrorists, even those within Islamist radicalism, have different goals. For instance, the Madrid bombers acted out of opposition to the Iraq War; so if you use them as your standard, the majority of US citizens today, including the current President, share the goals of the terrorists. But that's nonsense. It's their means that make terrorists terrorists.
