Former President Medvedev says the only way to secure lasting peace in Ukraine is to push back the borders of any hostile country in the region, including NATO member Poland. And of course the Baltic states, Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania are all NATO members on the border of Russia.

They continue to play security theater, as if there is any reality in which NATO would launch a hostile invasion of a nation with 6,000 nuclear weapons in it's arsenal.

Someone really ought to remind Putin that if he dumps New START & the gloves come off, it’ll be possible to go from today’s 20 Trident tubes-and 100ish warheads-per US SSBN, back to all 24 tubes and 12 or more warheads per tube (pushing 300 total). Just sayin.

Estonian defense minister pledges new military aid package during Kyiv trip

Pretty brave of the Estonians, IMHO. They know that if Ukraine falls to Russia, they're probably going to be amongst the next group of nations to be invaded. Instead of sitting on the gear, they're giving it to the Ukrainians, knowing that at the very least, it will buy them time to arm up, and at best, it ensures that they'll never have to fight the Russians on Estonian soil.

Also helps that Estonia is in NATO, despite his Ukraine adventure it still seems like touching a NATO country is a line Putin won't dare cross.

For now. Remember, Putin's Trump's plan is to destroy NATO. To quote a famous military expert, "Whatever comes out of these gates, We've got a better chance of survival if we work together. Do you understand? If we stay together, we survive."
