Well, poor Chrissy-poo must have sprayed blood out his ass and mouth at the same time over how Trump treated journalists. I'll just wait for you to go dig up those tweets that totally exist.
Oh, right, that was over the anthem protests. Yeah, not the same thing. Ahh, even when you almost get me you fuck up. Goddamn, son.
Calling a reporter a son of a bitch in 2017 is different because Trump did it. Repeat after me class, "if it weren't for double standards, the left would have no standards at all."
Nope, I said right in my reply the reasons were different, and those reasons had nothing to do with partisanship. Your naked lie is there for all to see. I'll own flubbing not checking the year, but even having me in your laser sights, you missed, and made my fumble pale by comparison. Sweet Breakdancing Baby Jesus, you suck at this.
America's preference for Dems saw a full reverse in 2021 (Gallup) On the plus side, maybe this will convince Republicans that Trump was bad for business.
TBH, I'd expect the House to be harder to hold than the Senate though prospects seem slightly better than they did in the fall (GOP has decided, apparently, to shore up some districts then try to max out their totals). In the Senate, they were in trouble regardless of Mansenima just because they have no margin, voters are so weird that accomplishing things (and they HAVE accomplished quite a bit, though certainly not all they needed to) apparently has no fucking effect because only tribalism is important. "Vote for the party out of power if you have no allegiance" acts like a frikkin rule of nature. That said, Wisconsin, NC, and PA are in play, and maybe Ohio if the Republicans nominate the most nutty possible option. FL if you really want to dream but a lot of bullshit going on in FL. I don't think the Dems have quite as much risk in this cycle - maybe NH? - because we're closing in on the point where everything is so thoroughly sorted that flipping will be more rare. (some will say GA but I don't think Warnock is as vulnerable as you might think, particularly if Republicans nominate that bozo Herschel Walker who clearly knows fuck-all about literally anything having to do with politics or governing)
Warnock is going to have a lot of problems with white conservative christians. I'm no fool, I know some of it is going to be racial in nature. But, the vast majority of it is going to be his stance on issues important to white conservative christians, like abortion. Of course, he's also getting push-back from african-american clergy as well. To me, the interesting race is GA14. Marjorie Taylor Green. A personal friend of mine is running against her.
The Dems drew Moreno in Ohio so Sherrod Brown has that race wrapped up. Slotkin is popular in Michigan and the state GOP is a total mess. Turncoat Sinema dropped out in Arizona so that clears the path for Gallego to beat MAGA nut Lake. Jon Tester just has to be Jon Tester and Montana will reward him. So the only question mark might be Nevada. But to be honest, I’ve never seen one side be so confident drawing to the inside straight. Looks like a 50-50 Senate with Harris as the tiebreaker.
