Looking it up it seems one of our more credulous posters has mentioned them in multiple threads but there isn’t one actually dedicated to it.

For those interested in the longer form here is good introduction from Medhi Hasan and Matt Tiabbi (one of Musk’s hand picked journalists that actually got access to selected files).

If you don’t have the time for all that here is a three and half minute clip that gives you an idea as to the quality of the ‘reporting’.

    https://twitter.com/mehdirhasan/status/1644064242419617803

Be prepared. About half way in you feel so bad for Matt you are mentally begging for the towel to be thrown in.

It is one thing to stand on the evidence inj a place where a lot has been presented, but it is another to not answer the question when you are inj an informing debate where the information should be presented. Taibi should make his case because that is what he is there for, and he doesn't. He just ducks away from everything hoping to not get anihilated.

That was an awesome watch where the twitter files were ripped apart. Of course a large an important organization is going to get priority in moderation on twitter. That is not censorship as long as twitter is abiding by their TOS. It is more important to quickly act on more salacious materials about more famous people. If someone posts nude pictures of me on twitter it should be reported and taken down by the standard moderation practices, however is someone posts nude pictures of a famous politician's kid I would hope that twitter would respond to the party's letter rally quickly because that is much more important.

One thing that Taibi consistently points to is the Nunes Memo. The Democrats pushed the narrative that Russian bots were behind the connection to Carter Page and the Clinton campaign that lied to theFISA court to investigate the Trump campaign. The guy in charge of Twitter at the time told them that there was no credible evidence that Russian bots or the Kremlin was in any way, but the Democrats and the media still went with their narrative anyway. Ever since the Russian collusion narrative has taken hold. This is why Trump supporters don’t take the Russian collusion charge seriously, even if Trump is on the take. But don’t take my word for it, read it in a book.

Thinking Matt Tiabbi looked around and saw slipshod assholes like Bari Weiss making bank by pandering to the lunatics and thought "why work when I can get in on the grift?"

The boy thinks Joe Rogan and Jordan Peterson are credible and sensible, and those are his reasonable sources. He watches UFC fighters and thinks those guys are sharp and know things. He studies UFO conspiracy theories and thinks the illuminati is real.

It is not hard to fool him. he took horse dewormer to fight a virus because a guy famous for making people eat cow eyeballs told him it was better.

Page's first FISA warrant was in 2014 after 3 Russian nationals with known ties to Russian intelligence were caught on tape actively discussing their plans to recruit him. He was investigated at the time and no evidence that he actually worked with them was found and the matter dropped.

But then he joined the 2016 Trump campaign as a foreign affairs adviser. When he was investigated again considering he was now routinely briefing a Presidential candidate he removed himself from the campaign. He was mentioned in the Steele dossier but that was hardly the only reason he was being looked into.

The Trump campaign then started lying about whether he worked for them. Page then lied if he ever met with Trump, which he had several times. When asked to appear before the Senate Select Committee on Intelligence he refused to come, stating he would only take the 5th if they forced him to appear.

The Horowitz report showed that one lawyer at Justice had altered a memo about Page who reported basic information in Russia to the CIA. That lawyer plead guilty and was sentenced to probation. That was the only legal case brought due to the OIG's inspection, which found no evidence of political motivation. In a later appearance before the House investigation into Russia Page admitted that he had repeated contacts with Russian officials, he had worked under Sam Clovis for the Trump campaign, and that a discussion over influence peddling did happen where Page would receive money for helping get rid of the Magnitsky sanctions (brokerage fees on the sale of Roseneft).

It's a big nothing burger. And still doesn't answer the question why Trump's son, son in law, and national security advisor, the later who was definitely working as an unregistered foreign agent at the time, met with a Russian lawyer in Trump tower specifically to get dirt on the Clinton campaign. Which they admitted to. They just said no agreement was reached - despite that being exactly what happened two months later using Assange's wikileaks leaking data hacked by Russian Military Intelligence. Assange who had taken money directly from Russia before, lied to try to invalidate the Panama Papers which showed Russian moneylaundering, and has never leaked any Russian secrets.

Mehdi Hassan just had Matt Taibbi on and thrashed him.

If you like dunking on FF, worth a look:
    https://twitter.com/mehdirhasan/status/1644064242419617803

Probably the biggest one - Taibbi claimed that Twitter's Election Integrity Project was responsible for labeling 22 million tweets as disinformation. The real number: 3000. They looked at 22 million, but didn't flag twenty one million, nine hundred ninety seven thousand as disinformation. Just a tad of a discrepancy.

They flagged .0014% of the tweets they looked at.

But some of the people, all of the time, right FF? LOL.

It is at least plausible that Matt misread the report to jump to the wrong conclusion that there were 22 million tweets flagged as disinformation, and he didn't realize his error, if one were inclined to give him the benefit of the doubt (which I'm not). And apparently Taibi has some sort of defense of this that he has issued on Twitter.

But I don't see a good-faith excuse for his conflating a government agency with the acronym CISA and a non government agency with the acronym CIS, and then editing a quote so that an action of CIS gets attributed to "CIS[A]" so as to fit with the thesis that toe gubmint was bullying Twitter.

But I do appreciate the summery since the kid is apparently deciding a 3 minute clip of the interview is too long.

Dr. Ancalagon: "So, Steve2^4, tell me what's been going on. You say you've had an erection for over 4 hours?"

Steve2^4: "Yes, doctor. It's been going on for days now. I'm starting to get worried."

Dr. Ancalagon: "I see. Well, there are a few possible explanations for this. It could be a medical condition, such as priapism. Or it could be caused by a medication you're taking. Or it could be psychological."

    Steve2^4: "I don't think it's psychological. I mean, I'm not really that excited."

Dr. Ancalagon: "Well, we'll need to do some tests to figure out what's going on. In the meantime, I want you to take it easy and avoid any sexual activity. And I want you to come back to see me in a week."

    Steve2^4: "Okay, doctor. Thank you."

Dr. Ancalagon: "You're welcome. And don't worry, we'll get to the bottom of this."

A week later, Steve2^4 returns to see Dr. Ancalagon.

Dr. Ancalagon: "So, how are you feeling?"

Steve2^4: "Not great. The erection is still there."

Dr. Ancalagon: "I see. Well, the tests came back and they don't show anything that would be causing this. So, I think we need to rule out a psychological cause. I'm going to refer you to a psychiatrist."

    Steve2^4: "A psychiatrist? But I'm not crazy!"

Dr. Ancalagon: "I know you're not crazy. But there are some psychological conditions that can cause this. The psychiatrist will be able to help you figure out what's going on."

Steve2^4: "Okay. I'll see the psychiatrist."

Steve2^4 sees the psychiatrist and they talk about his symptoms. The psychiatrist diagnoses him with a condition called Persistent Genital Arousal Disorder (PGAD). PGAD is a rare condition that causes a person to have a persistent, unwanted erection or arousal. There is no known cure for PGAD, but there are treatments that can help to manage the symptoms.

The psychiatrist prescribes Steve2^4 some medication to help with his symptoms. He also recommends that Steve2^4 see a therapist to help him cope with the condition.

Steve2^4 starts taking the medication and seeing the therapist. He starts to feel better and his symptoms start to improve. He is still dealing with PGAD, but he is learning to manage it and live with it.

Obvious smear campaign is obvious. For those who don't want to watch DNC propaganda from a hack "journalist" that spews lies. This is the same dude tat bashed the Daily Mail after he sent a letter begging them for a job and says that if your not the right kind of Muslim, you're an animal. Remind you of a certain WF poster? This is not an interview. As Kurt Metzger puts it, it sounds like two people haggling over the price of a carpet in a middle eastern bizarre. "Buddy, buddy!"

I made it 5 minutes into it and Jimmy is obviously as dumb as you are.

These weren’t minor points but the basis of the entire ‘story’. Tiabbi got CISA and CIS confused (one is a government agency the other a non-profit) along with misreading the data. It was 22m million posts that they monitored total. Less than 3k were flagged to the Social Media companies as being possibly illegal or fraudulent and only 35% of those flagged were removed.

So the story that the government told the SM to take down 22m posts and they did is complete and utter bullshit.

It was a non-profit, they only reported potential illegal or fraudulent (for example a phishing page that purported to be Arizona elections registration page) urls and of those only ~1000 were taken down for having illegal or fraudulent content.

Which you would know if you had the ability to read anything more complicated than the back of a box of Lucky Charms as it is laid out in the link posted immediately above your Jimmy Dore video.

Also, why am I not surprised you follow a guy who thinks a dude with a British accent (but of middle eastern descent) sounds like a ‘haggler in a bazaar’?

Wonder what ever led them to making that connection? You really do love the lazy racists don’t you?

Hey race baiter, they sound like hagglers because due keeps shouting over Taibi not because of his accent, but because he keeps shouting him down like the type of shouting down you'd see in a bizaar.
