it works, still, no wonder the game has so many loading problems, the map is 3x larger than the play area

It's pretty honkin' big, but I suppose it needs to be to show the mountianous terrain at such a distance and keep it preportionate.

Back when those guys worked at Black Isle studios with Interplay they were famous for easter eggs like The Bridgekeeper from quest for the holy grail in the second fallout game.

Well, looks as if I've done what can be done in HH, now all there is left is regenerating plants, bears, and other assorted critters.
My final siding was with JG. Daniel was such a whiney pacifistic bastard about it all I wanted to shoot him.

Of course I ran both options but JG seemed to be the best outcome not only for all involved but for the park as well.

Haven't tried to make nice with the White Legs, may give that a go just for yucks though I don't think it'll make any difference, you still have to either side with JG or Daniel I believe.

May do that tomorrow morning, see if they are red right off the bat. Initially they're not but that may change when the caravan guys open up on them.

:tasvir: Maybe if I wack them first...

    So anyway...

    :sigh:

I went back to the Lucky 38 and found the bastards had eaten my Wellington from the fucking Sunset machine. I put it there intentionally because I was aware they ate shit out of the fridge.
I sent all the two leggers packing after taking all of my shit back. Bastards.
Didn't really give a rat's ass about the other stuff but damnit I can't get any more of that, it was a gambling perk from the Ultra Luxe.

Another weird thing was in the first HH run when I came back Veronica had one of my .45s, a war club and some other shit associated with that stuff like ammo. She had to have snagged it, though initially I considered a code issue where I had left stuff with her and it changed.

Sent that bitch packing first thing after I heard her open up my desk and didn't even bother taking her there this time. GTFO :bailey:

Another weird thing I forgot about a couple of weeks ago was that chick who has you bug House's network, well she suddenly showed up upstairs asking if I had done it yet. :wtf:

I now await the next installment with 523,391 caps, just under 40k SM tokens, a plethora of hardware, and a shitload of ammo.

Had a hell of a time finding a grenade machine gun this run, but eventually the Kahns had one so I snatched it up.

I like not having to use guns to fix guns anymore being the Weapon Repair Kits are so easily acquired via SM tokens.

Anyway, I think I'll go kill everyone and everything in the interum. :bergman:

Yea, I know but this time he didn't. I was like level 30 before I found one and I hit all of the merchants.

Might have something to do with blowing the BOS bunker.

So I'm back at the Sierra Madre (going for all the achievements) and I realize something, the Courier is a total dick/bitch. Christine is the woman Veronica talked about being in love with, its obvious. If the courier had just told Christine that Veronica is traveling with him/her, you could have reunited them, instead, Christine just fades away in the Sierra Madre.

Yep. it's unfortunate the option isn't there. I'd like to tell her, and vice versa.

"Oh yea, she's fine and thinks about you often!"

One of the challanges is something like "loose ends" where you whack all of them.

Dean, you pretty much have to whack him, which after all of his snide commentary really can't come fast enough.

Haven't whacked them all yet though.

That has a Pokemon ring to it.

    "Gotta whack 'em all!"

    Been doing another run.

Assholes managed to blow up the tram this time, I couldn't get to it fast enough after talking with Tsu.
I expected NCR to go apeshit about it but they didn't. Seems they did once in my first runthrough so I went back and reworked it so I made it back then.

House didn't even mention it when I went to see him but the bots did when I hit the penthouse.
Of course the last hard save was three hours old. I'm keeping my saves to two plus the autosave. One at the beginning, one that is ongoing and the auto.

Suppose it's time to kill Ceasar again. I went to Zion right quick this morning to see the dialouge with JG with him alive and there was only the omition of the ability to tell him I had whacked him so I went back where I was.

I had intended to do him in earlier but I had yet to get the invite so I had to go deal with Benny. I whacked Vulpes in Nipton this time, smug bastard.

One thing I do like about Vault 22 is you can pass mantis legs back and forth and level up. I did just that.

    Crap. :bang:

After going in and killing almost anything that moved at the fort I loaded up and went to fast travel back to Novac only to find that somewhere along the line I neglected to take the perk required to fast travel overincumbered. I make it a point to get that one, but I wasted three trying to up the number of points to distribute.

    Crap.

Nearest hard save back to a point I can take it is level 37 and I've done a shitload since then.
I knew I should have kept the Vault 22 save when I overwrote it. :(
Pah, I'm only 35 hours into it so I may just start another run.
I didn't care much for the tram getting blown up anyway.

Man, Dead Money was Ok the first couple of times going through it but it has finally reached the point of being an irritant, at least the way I've been going throughit. i suppose I need to mix it up and kill everyone but that just goes against my grain.

I find myself siding with Joshua Graham in Honest Hearts most every time. Daniel is such a whiney ass perfectly content to make the Sorrows leave Zion and go to what? pah. Fuck him. I did a playthrough with his way of working things and the White Legs just shit on Zion and destroyed it. That ain't right. His mode of appeasement is sad and I am glad he has trouble dealing with it for years. His pacifist ass deserves nothing less.

    :bergman:

I like tha additional weapons, the .45 and taking the grunt perk is brutal to anyone in the sights. Since I have JG's .45 it replaced Maria in my carry cache. The Thompson is cool too but I rarely use a machine gun, well one that shoots bullets. My Grenade Machine gun is almost always with as is Mercy. Nothing like lobbing ordinence at a high arc and landing in the middle of a group of Legion. Parts fly everywhere!

Odd thing happened the other day, the powder gangers on the roads were actually not attacking me. It happened after Cass and I turned in the Van Graffs as opposed to killing them all. Well, as long as I don't go in their store the quest will carry on but if we kill either of them or the broad at Crimson Caravans then it fails and brings negative crapola from NCR. The crier and the thugs all attack when I went to Freeside but those two stayed inside as all of the rest poured out into the streets and met their doom.

Didn't last long with the Powder Gangers though, a group of them near Primm attacked us and it was back to normal.
At Vault 19 they are cool, at least until you start in on them. I usuually kill them all and stack the bodies in the entrance.

No, we can not be friends. :bailey:

Kahns idolize me in this latest run. I usually get them to leave when the big battle starts.

I like to do as much damage to Ceasar as I possably can before I go to The Tops. That way when it switches to neutral most of his work is destroyed. I love to listen to him list off all of the shit when you have to go see him to fire up the securitron army at the fort.

Still trying to get my Pimp Boy though. I went back to an earlier save trying to emulate actions taken and still haven't managed to get it. I had whacked House though and had a different rep from NCR. Not sure what I did but working on it still. Mick just won't give it up yet. I may have to whack House I guess.

So as it stands I have two veins running just short of setting off the final swing and haven't committed yet. Don't Tread On The Bear is a point I stop at since that one changes thngs so you can't assist them in any more of their quests.
It bugs me that everyone wants the BOS dead and in one of the two runs they are, but I just want to open fire on anyone NCR related when they act all bad ass about them not being attacked by them like thay had something to do with it or something.

I started to kill anything and everything today but didn't. I suppose I will eventually, just go postal and kill 'em all.

Now I await Old World Blues. It's due out this month but it's yet to surface. They are all supposed to be done already so it should release as planned, one a month.

    I hope.

Beh. I modded the living shit out of NV immediately this past install/playthrough. Got the Readius Pip-Boy, the CALIBR ammo mod and the World of Pain mod just to have more shit to shoot at. I tell ya, it gets pretty sweet when you can grab a .454 Casuli off some Powder Ganger and use it to annihilate the rest of the camp of them.

    You'll love it.

 Found a "glitch". I got stuck in a loop when I was having a discussion with my brain and had to go back to a save while reminessing about our good times.

Speaking of glitches, it appears they fixed the Vault 11/22 Mantis issue.

    Bastards! I used that!

Appears to be quite a few changes in the game I'm running across but finding them through exploration as opposed to the boards and Wiki. For now anyway.

Ya know, I ranted a bit yesterday about odds and ends but upon further reflection and a few more hours behind the joystick I have to say I kind of like being ambushed every time I turn around, it has taken the blahs out of things.

They ain't playin' either, they're letting things rip.
Makes me wonder how hard it's going to get to Ceasar, if they've changed that up. Suppose I'll find out tomorrow.

Only thing is the assassins are showing up and killing off quest people, happened again today.

Got Old World Blues on Friday, haven't had much time to play it yet - spent a while figuring out how to stop the freakin' Don't Tread on the Bear quest.

What I really want is a way to unit the independent tribes and towns (Khans, Kings, etc) and tell all the sides to fuck off without having to rely on the robots to do it. For example use the NCR to defeat the Legion, then break the NCR's hold on the territory so it remained independent.

OWB already has some cool stuff, and I'm only a couple of hours into it. It's very 50s scifi kitschy, but then it makes no reservations about that - you start out by going to a Science Fiction midnight feature at a drive in to kick off the story. :)

Now if I could only find where they put my brain...

Should they get William Shatner for the next fallout game or mark hamill?
