You're going to acknowledge that you already knew I was asserting there have been no worthy candidates, you tedious, pedantic waste of fucking pixel ink.
I’ve only ever voted in Alabama and Washington and so have never needed to vote for one of the major two parties in a Presidential Election. However the idea that Trump’s naked white supremacy needs to be smacked down HARD is starting to get to me. I also worry that if he isn’t beaten in an overwhelming landslide then the Trumpists could still exercise plurality control over the Republican Party.
Giving a shit about other human beings isn't "effeminate" or "ghey," bro. Maybe stop getting your political opinions from early South Park? Oh shit, are you just Elderly @Federal Farmer ?
Pretty sure, regardless of the results, trump will attempt to say in the White House or he cheated again. I do not believe Biden will set foot back there without a blood bath.
Thank you. Horse shit. These little shitbag punk cowards will run out of steam the nanosecond their parents stop paying their cell phone bills. These are not revolutionaries. They are petulant children having a tantrum because they are convinced there will be no consequences. I would say the time for having the faintest whiff of faith in this political system (for those who ever had any) passed around that time. Participating in same will get you more of the same bad acid trip parade of clowns swinging back and forth on a pendulum. Civilians attacking each other only serves to distract from the real operation here.
Y'know, I used to say "I'm a white, hetero cis male who isn't fucking anybody right now, so I'm privileged enough that I don't have anything to personally worry about from another Trump term" ... but Coronavirus pretty much disproved that. Hillary Clinton or Joe Biden would have listened to the experts and done what they said instead of suppressing six months in denial. If Hillary Clinton were president, our virus numbers might not be as good as New Zealand's, but they'd probably look something like Germany's, and this shitshow would be just about over now. Since my livelihood is at direct risk due to the malignant narcissist's incompetence, even MY privileged ass isn't immune.
Based on the candidates you've ostensibly voted for in the past (calm down; I'm not asking you to name them), can you describe at least one characteristic you'd consider "worthy," or are you blowing smoke figuratively as well as literally?
Jesus Christ, all that's missing is the obligatory "Kurtzman" mention. This is your future if you don't change your ways, @Federal Farmer
I don't know who you're talking about, but reading your post in that screechy boy's voice makes you so much more entertaining.
On the one hand I can appreciate the ideological purity of saying you don't want to endorse a broken system, but on the other hand all I hear when these giant douche/turd sandwich level arguments are made is that people see the trivial differences as having no consequence on their lives. If you would hold the same stance even if one of the candidates was literally proposing a new holocaust, then well done on the consistency, but there isn't anything to be gained via debate on it. If there is a point where a candidate was so bad that you would hold your nose to vote against them then it's interesting to consider where that point would be.
QFT. Although you were never one of those Bernie Sanders purists, people like me tried to explained this and hardly any of them could look past their own unicorn pixie-dusr dreams. One of them was still talking that dumb jive about wanting to see the whole system burn down back in February. Guess they're likely gonna get that wish Of course, I do have to wonder what priviledged white guys who are at the top of the food chain have to gain by seeing a system collapse, when that's nothing many of the marginalized people most affected and fucked over currently are even asking for.
Voting is not an exercise in personal fulfillment. It’s not a chance for you to define who you are as a person. It’s the most direct way We the People have of exerting political control over our country and our communities. Voting for any other reason is a form of self-delusion.
Imagine how broken a nation would have to be for an actual, panzer-tanks-and-gas-chambers holocaust to even be a remote possibility, then convince me something so civil as casting a ballot in such a broken nation would stand up to it. That's about where I'm at. Nobody with real power is asking your permission.
I've seen a rather good analogy that voting is like riding the bus: you will rarely get where you need too in one direct shot but you can find a route that gets you closest to you job or school. No one just stops going to work because the bus system doesn't do drop offs at the front door. A lotta people like UA and the Bernie Brats who turned on Sanders for dropping out in April seem to think voting is more like a fucking Lyft ride.
"Vote shaming"? That's one I haven't heard before. I'd say we - as in the 99% - never had any control over it to begin with. Until we have the ability to switch off the Greed gene sequence, there will always be corruption.
When the corrupt one in office is a science denier telling his own party to drink bleach? Imma let you figure out the answer to that one.
Who is insisting anything? Or do you take folks pointing out that those privileged folks who are willing to let even more of their citizens die in order to maintain some kind of ideological purity are huge pieces of shit as telling people how to vote?
Then your logic skills need sharpening. It’s not a logical vote. It’s a vote for the lesser of two evils. But it’s definitely not logical.
