No, I'm pretty confident with or without my weapon, unlike you. I figure you'd feel like a gay with a woman if someone gave you a gun.

I think I may be a bit sexist. Age-ist, too. The problem is, most of the time I'm right when I guess that a bad driver I see somewhere is either an old fucker or a woman.

That the big reason Chinese don't drive too well. The ones that have immigrated in the last 20 yrs did not grow up with cars.

To be honest, I don't really care what everybody's story is. The same standards apply, and you can either satisfy them or get the fuck off of the road. No special exceptions for being female, old, foreign, or crippled.

A handicapped tag can mean anything. Dismemberment, paralysis, retardation. Who knows? All I care about is that they can perform the physical task of driving as well as someone with no disabilities.

What I'm saying is that they don't have to creep or drive slow like they would if they were walking on crutches or in a wheel chair.

The car stops and goes at your control. Even with no legs, you should be able to drive the car just like the next mug.

Thankfully the cost/benefit never balanced out to where I've felt the need to get the permit. It's always been too much of a hassle. But on occasion, when I felt I needed it, the Walther PPK/S has went discretely into the waistband. On occasion I've been close to going out the door with the Mossberg 590 Military not at all discretely tucked anywhere. That's the one I take when I think I'm going to need a gun and have no desire to use it. Because even the most belligerent person becomes very polite when staring down the big, black hole that the 00 buck comes out of. And on the off chance that they don't right away they most certainly do after the 00 buck comes out. :bergman:

[edit]Oh, and is it really a good idea for us to be trying to persuade Uncle Anger that he should have a loaded gun with him at all times?

Gets a bit tiresome doesn't it. A new thread on it every day. I have nothing against the gun threads, we'v always had them, hell when I shot guns thought they were cool, but this shits just getting boring!

Maybe I'll start a new thread each day about the different clubs I keep in my golf bag, and the balls I use...... a few consecutive days of that and the folks here will be pissed!

Heres an idea, instead of a whole forum, why not just have one big badass thread like we have in the green room, originally for our fantasy football but we use it to discuss all football/soccer ;) related nonsense. Keeps it together and stops clogging up room.

Just for general gun comparison/wanking etc, keep the usual pro v anti gun debates in the red room where they belong.

If I did it, it'd start out as a sub-forum, probably of The Red Room so the same rules would apply. If it took off, it'd become it's own forum. If it did not, it'd get folded back into The Red Room.

However, I think you're exactly right about keeping the pro vs. anti legal discussions where they belong, in The Red Room.

Agreed. But by that logic, should apostle's "Does this caliber make my dick look bigger" threads be in the White Room?
