How are you doing that? The missions I'm doing take hours and only boost you 200 points or so at a time. I tried City on the Edge of Never. Jesus Christ, those Klingons are powerful!

My easy deep space missions give 414 even with the bugged rommie's spawning on top of you as load in to the map, PVP gives quite nice xp too.

My fleet mate is already level 42.

I've seen a few TOS Constitution class ships running around. Is that some pre-order thing or can I select that when I get the proper class? It'd make the choice between the Constitution and Constitution-Refit really, really hard.

Especially considering I was so busy admiring myself in my TOS uniform that I got waxed in a ground engagement without my armor.

I've also seen some people running around in the ST:II-ST:VI monster maroons. Lemme guess, another pre-order thing?

Re-fit is standard and in the game when you get to Lt commander, original constitution is only available to those who bought a particular version (at least I think so).

Here is the ship chart for ST:O

You've got to tell me where you're doing that. Right now I'm doing mission after mission and I'm barely crawling up the scale. I'm still Lt. Commander Level 2. In this same amount of time between Lt. Com 1 and Lt. Com 2, I went from Ensign to Lieutenant Commander.

Yeah, Refit is available at Lt. Com, but the original TOS can only be available if you purchased a certain version of the game from a specific retailer. The Movie uniforms are available once you reach Lt. Commander, I think. That's when they appeared for me.

Looks pretty mouthwatering. Sorry if it's already been asked, but is there a demo or anything I can try?

Tried turning off anti-aliasing. Game still took a shit as soon as I beamed down and started trading weapons fire with numerous enemies. I guess I'll be trying a reinstall next.

    :ua:

Definitely sticking with the smaller ships. I like to load out my forward weapon arcs and use maneuverability to keep myself pointed at the enemy ships. I also think I'm just gonna keep upgrading my light cruiser until I can afford a Defiant, rather than going for Saber and Akira variants in between.

    Try turning off dynamic lighting.
Or try turning down number of lights or light shadows.

No, it's a code you got with i think one of the recent bluray releases of a ST series, but it's a standard code for everybody to use...

For anyone who does not already have this, here is a free code that you enter into your account (same way you entered your registration key) and it will unlock the Star Trek 2-6 Uniform to use on your characters.

The code is: JIH MUSHA SOH

And it is indeed @Rincewiend in the game

I built myself an escort vessel to take on the more powerful missions in the game. I still have the USS Axiom, but she's now joined by her more bristling sister, USS Omega Star. :D

You get a ship token when you hit the level for it (just one ship you have to buy the other two if you want all of them at captain)

What, no K'Vort Class? They are suppose to be like the B'Rel class, but 4 times bigger.

You play the way I do. I'd rather sit back and pound the target with the high yield torps and pulse phaser cannons. Usually I'm the last one into a melee, but I do the most damage.

If you go Miranda -> Sabre -> Akira -> Defiant, it shouldn't cost you a thing. When you get promoted, it will let you move up a class of ship. When you reach Lt. Commander, the admiral will hail you and ask you to meet at the starbase for a promotion and a new ship.

I'm at work, and then I'm doing some kind of exercise. It'd be several hours before I'm even thinking of logging on. But to answer your question, yes. I believe I actually parked my character in the "Exchange" area of the Earth starbase.

I got no friends request, just a message in the inbox saying hello. (Unless you sent request in the past 12 hours.)

Anyways, I'll add the ones who are listed so far.

And you guys can send items to each other via the mail in-game. There are about 6 slots at the bottom of the message you can fill with items.
